News from Lauren

Happy April to Everyone,

I want to hear everyone’s April Fools Day jokes and tricks next week! We’d like to wish everyone a Happy Easter Weekend! It’s a wonderful time of year and I hope everyone spends time with their loved ones this weekend. Please know that everyone at the Museum appreciates your continued service, time and support.

I am sending this message to ask you to please keep two members of our Volunteer Crew in your thoughts and prayers. In early March, Bill Dreslin had a bad fall when the ice storms hit. He is doing well and is in a rehabilitation center. We hope he comes back even stronger than before the fall. Last Tuesday, Tom Pasquale was rushed to HEB Hospital in Bedford, Texas on Tuesday Morning with a failing heart; he has been stabilized and is resting comfortably in the Hospital since March 24th and is in the best care of the wonderful people at Harris Methodist Hospital HEB.  He had triple bypass surgery on Monday morning and is currently in ICU. Please continue to keep Tom and his family in your thoughts at this trying time. We will be sure to keep you everyone posted on Tom’s and Bill’s status.

In other news, Bill Hurst (one of our Wednesday PM volunteers) will be leaving us shortly and is moving away from Texas upstate to New York to move closer to his family. We are so excited for Bill, however we will miss Bill dearly. Bill plans to attend our Volunteer Breakfast on April 13th , so make sure to send him off with your best wishes!

We have so many blessings at the CRSM including our many dedicated volunteers. We hope you all have a blessed weekend,
