Completing her final season of eligibility as a graduate student
competing in the pole vault...has made tremendous strides entering her
third year with the FSU program after transferring from Tyler (Texas)
Junior College...coming off a solid indoor campaign, capped by her
sixth-place finish at the ACC Championship, where she matched her indoor
career-best with a vault of 3.91m (12-10)...placed in the top eight in
four of five meets, including an eighth-place finish at the Razorback
Invitational when she cleared 3.91 for the first time...has scored in
each of the last four ACC Championship meets (indoors and outdoors) 2011: Outdoor
- qualified for the NCAA East Region in the pole vault...posted a
fifth-place finish at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a height of
3.86m (12-8), narrowly missing All-ACC honors...highly competitive
throughout the season, placing seventh or higher in eight of 10
meets...opened the year with a winning, career-best vault of 3.95m
(12-11.50) at the UNF Spring Break Invitational. Indoor -
placed seventh at the ACC Indoor Championships, matching her career-best
effort under roof (3.85)...was runner-up early in the year at the Hokie
Invitational. 2010: Outdoor - put together a
timely, new personal-best of 3.70m (12-1.50) at the ACC Outdoor
Championships, placing seventh...competed in eight meets and scored her
first collegiate victory at the 60th FAMU Relays. Indoor - in
her first season of competition for the Seminoles posted a new best of
3.61m (11-10) at the Tyson Invitational...finished 11th in her first ACC
Championship appearance. Personal: Has made multiple
appearances on the Florida State Dean's List and ACC Honor Roll, while
also earning All-ACC Academic honors...completing her master's degree in
public history...aspires to be a museum curator...born Feb. 14, 1989.
