I can remember American flying the SKY SLEEPER.

The sky sleeper flew mainlly coast to coast. Of course lots of the trip was night time.
We would have to change the bedding at the stop the passenger was reaching destination.

2 blankets
1 pillow
One of the blankets was folded nicely and placed at the foot for a spare..
I guess I was rated as a butler at that time.
I was really a fleet service clerk.
BUT I WAS IN AVIATION !!!!!
